Financial Asset Services announces formation of Title Curative Services unit

Irvine, CA - Financial Asset Services, Inc. (FAS), a national asset management company with a 30-year history of providing superior property disposition and valuation services for mortgage companies and financial institutions, today announced that they have formed a Title Curative Services unit in order to meet the needs of their clients.

"We have been offering Title Curative Services as a complimentary part of our REO disposition process," explained Jimmy Alvarez, the Director of Risk Management at FAS. "As a result of our success with existing clients and at the request of new ones, we developed our stand-alone Title Curative Service to help inundated servicers better manage their workloads."

The group, headed by Ranee Martinez, has a wealth of mortgage and title experience in their backgrounds. "Servicers these days are so busy that they can't dedicate the time or effort to fight all of the battles to clear title prior to a distressed asset sale," she said. "Because they want to sell the property quickly, they end up paying for things that they don't need to and the dollars involved are shocking."

"Because we have dedicated employees focused solely on tackling these issues, we are seeing great success," Martinez added.
